What is the aim of this course?
To obtain the SIA licence to work as a vehicle immobiliser (wheel clamper).
Who is it for?
For those currently working, or wishing to begin work as a vehicle immobiliser (wheel clamper)
What are the benefits?
On successful completion of the course, and passing the required examinations, delegates will be able to apply for an SIA licence to work as a vehicle immobiliser (wheel clamper).
What does it cover?
Delegates must complete and pass both units 1 and 2 as outlined below. Success will achieve a level 2 award in Vehicle Immobilisation and allow delegates to apply for their SIA licence.

Introduction to the legislation relating to vehicle immobilising (Private Security Industry Act 2001) and the tools used to immobilise a vehicle

Completing paperwork
Practical case studies (clamping, removal and paperwork)
Use of photography
The payment process
Procedures for start and end of shift
