The exams for this course are held on the second and third day starting at 3.30pm and 4.30pm respectively.
The structure of the qualification will comprise of 4 units:
A 25 question multiple choice examination on Working in the Security Industry. The examination will last for 40 minutes and candidates will be required to correctly answer 18 out of the 25 questions.
A 40 question multiple choice examination on Working as a Door Supervisor. The examination will last for 60 minutes and candidates will be required to correctly answer 28 out of the 40 questions.
A 25 question multiple choice examination on Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry. The examination will last for 40 minutes and candidates will be required to correctly answer 18 out of the 25 questions.
Practical assessment in Physical Intervention Skills for the Private Security Industry.
We will post exam results to you within three to four working days of completing your course. Your certificates will follow within 10 - 14 days.
(You can apply for your SIA licence as soon as we have given you confirmation of passing the exams. You do not need your certificates to apply for your SIA licence)
A packed lunch (if venue does not sell food or refreshments)
1 passport sized colour photographs

DSTO is a top training company with top trainers. I booked on my course with Jan and she is great. Gavin Edgar taught us and he is a top bloke. He answered all of my questions well and made the class really interesting and real life. I am looking to working as a Door Supervisor. Bob, the Physical Intervention teacher was great. I learnt lots of new moves. I will definitely recommend DSTO to everyone I meet.
